We have a very diverse range of club members

Our youngest member is 8 years old, while our eldest is 63 years old.

While majority of our members reside in the Crosby and Mayfair West area, we do have other members from various other suburbs including but not limited to Montgomery Park, Brixton and Vrededorp.

What We Do

Social Outlet

The World is more connected than ever before - from a digital point of view at least, and yet people are so 'socially distant' from each other.

Through the sport of Table Tennis, we give people a sense of belonging. This enables us to share personal relatedness and support each other in perpetual growth, both of ourselves and the community area that we reside in.

Table Tennis is not only fun

Renowned physician, psychiatrist and brain imaging expert, Dr Daniel Amen, calls table tennis “the world's best brain sport”.

Not only does it improve balance and great for eye-hand coordination & reflexes, it utilizes both upper and lower bodies, is highly aerobic and burns calories.

Did you know? Table Tennis is utilized a treatment for dementia - the Sport and Art Educational Foundation started a table tennis therapy program, which was designed for seniors with early stage Alzheimer's and various forms of dementia.

Psychiatrist and best selling author Daniel Amen, M.D., also supports the use of table tennis as a therapy for improving brain function. In his article "Stupidity and the Brain", Amen writes that, for improving brain function, "Golf is good. Tennis is terrific. Table Tennis is the best sport in the world."
