MATCH FORMATS

🎉 2025 NiniMeeniMoe Tournament – The Dual Venue Challenges Edition! 🎉

Get ready for double the fun and double the challenge! This year, we’re introducing one new exciting formats, and re-introducing a previous one. A separate NiniMeeniMoe challenge for each venue. Let the epic fun (and practice) begin! 🏓💥

SNMT Venue: The "Backhand Only" Challenge

This year, SNMT players will test their precision and control with the Backhand Only Challenge! Here’s what you need to know:

✅ What’s Allowed?

· Only backhand shots - for serving AND receiving.

· A backhand is defined as a stroke where the back of the hand faces the ball, and the racket typically moves across the body.

· Serves can be made from anywhere, but must be executed with a backhand motion.

❌ What’s Not Allowed?

· Using a forehand (palm facing the ball, swinging away from the body) at any time - whether serving or during rallies.

· If a forehand is used, the point goes automatically to the opponent.

👀 Umpires and Assistant Umpires will be nominated and watching closely - not the rubber colour, but the hand and racket positioning. No sneaky forehands! 😉

RPRC Venue: The "Less Dominant Hand" Challenge

For the first-ever NiniMeeniMoe challenge at RPRC, we’re turning the tables with the Less Dominant Hand Challenge!

✅ What’s the Rule?

· You must play entire matches using your less dominant hand as your racket hand.

· Right-handers play with their LEFT hand.

· Left-handers play with their RIGHT hand.

· No hand-swapping allowed during the match!

🎯 This challenge is all about adaptability, fun, and maybe a little bit of friendly chaos! Who said you can’t train your other hand? 😄

📍 Draws & Updates

The official draws will be published in the coming week on the NiniMeeniMoe page of our club’s website. Stay tuned!

Let the practice begin - whether it’s mastering your backhand or training your weaker arm/hand, now's the time to level up! 🚀

See you on the tables for NiniMeeniMoe 2025!!!
